Team Tezlom, a healthcare recruitment agency in the heart of Southport, was excited to take part in the annual Southport Santa Sprint 5K on Sunday, donning festive Santa outfits and putting in the steps to raise funds for the much-loved Queenscourt Hospice.

The event, which enjoyed glorious winter sunshine, saw Team Tezlom join hundreds of other participants in a fun-filled, family-friendly walk, jog, and run around Southport’s streets.

The team’s mission? To raise vital funds for Queenscourt Hospice, a local charity that provides exceptional care and support to people with life-limiting conditions, and to give back to the Southport community that has supported us so much.

Director of Tezlom Ryan Armitage said:

“Our team had an absolutely fantastic time taking part in the Santa Sprint, and it was made even better knowing we were raising money for such a worthwhile cause.

“It was also heartening to see the strong sense of community as people from all walks of life came together, all in support of Queenscourt Hospice.

“Our Santa outfits certainly brought smiles, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and supported us!”

The Santa Sprint is a beloved tradition in Southport, with participants of all ages coming together to spread festive cheer while supporting the hospice.

Queenscourt Hospice, which provides palliative and end-of-life care, relies heavily on fundraising to maintain its services, and every penny raised during the event will go directly to supporting their patients and families.

Ryan Armitage said:

“At Team Tezlom, we’re proud to be part of such a wonderful event and to play a role in supporting our local community.

“Southport has been the heart of our business, and giving back is at the core of everything we do. We’re grateful to Stand Up For Southport for helping spread the word about this fantastic cause and to everyone who joined us or donated to make the event a success.

“We’d like to thank everyone who cheered us on, donated, or participated in the Santa Dash.

“ It was a memorable day filled with joy, community spirit, and plenty of festive cheer.

“We hope our contribution will have a big impact for Queenscourt Hospice and continue to strengthen the community bonds we hold so dear.”
