The team at United Legal Assistance in Southport have worn yellow to work today to show their support for Bebe’s Hive.

Colleagues at the site, based in the former Crown Post Office building on Lord Street, also held a collection to support the charity, was created recently by Bebe King’s parents to provide a safe place where grieving children can find creativity and connection.

A United Legal Assistance spokesperson said: “Hannah Clayton has today been leading the staff at United Legal Assistance in support of Bebe’s Hive by wearing yellow or bright clothing in celebration of World Bee Day and having a whip round!

“Bebe’s Hive was founded in memory of 6-year-old Bebe King, who sadly lost her life last summer.

“The charity supports grieving families by offering free sessions that use art, music, play, and storytelling to help children explore grief in a safe and gentle way.

“It’s a space designed to provide care, hope, and healing.

“Wearing something bright is a small but powerful gesture that helps raise awareness for a cause that’s incredibly close to the hearts of many in the Southport community!

“With love on behalf of all the staff at United Legal.”

Churchtown Village in Southport has also been turned yellow today to celebrate Bebe’s Hive and World Bee Day in Bebe’s memory.
