A spectacular night of live music, community and fundraising at The Auditorium, M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, has raised an incredible £7,827.77 for Bebe’s Hive following the hugely successful Whole Lotta Choir concert.

The event, organised by local choir Connected Voices, brought together 235 singers, a live band and a packed, enthusiastic audience for an unforgettable evening of music.

One of the highlights of the night saw the audience turn the venue into a sea of glow sticks during the choir’s high-energy 90s Club Medley, with singers and audience members joining together for what became an impromptu choir rave.

Anthony Seaman, director of Connected Voices, said:

“It was such a thrill to bring so many of our singers together for such a good cause. They sang with such energy and passion that the audience couldn’t help but be swept along with it.

“I’ll never forget seeing the whole place up and dancing with us – the atmosphere was absolutely incredible.”

The concert also welcomed So Talented Academy as special guest performers, showcasing some of the area’s talented young performers.

They joined Connected Voices for a moving performance of ‘You Will Be Found’ from the musical Dear Evan Hansen.

Hayley Jones, Fundraising Executive for Bebe’s Hive, who also compered the show, said:

“We are incredibly grateful to Connected Voices, So Talented, the musicians, the audience and everyone who supported Whole Lotta Choir.

“This incredible amount raised will help us continue offering creative grief support to children and families navigating unimaginable trauma and loss.”

Hayley also took to the microphone to lead the rousing finale, a fittingly massive rendition of the Queen classic ‘Somebody to Love’, which had the audience out of their seats one final time for a well-deserved standing ovation.
