Two special sensory friendly sessions are being held at the new Winter Light Trail in Southport this November and December.
The event, operated by Luminate, is a captivating after dark, illuminated trail which is held at Victoria Park in Southport.
Set to ambient music, you will follow the 1.2km long trail as it meanders through Victoria Park. Stunning lighting elements and light play will guide you along the way, punctuated by approximately 13 wow moments / highlights.
Two sensory friendly sessions have been organised for visitors who have specific sensory needs and their families to enjoy.
The ‘sensory friendly’ sessions at Luminate Southport are:
Monday 29th November 2021 @ 4.30pm – CLICK HERE

These slots are not available through the Booking Calendar.
The trail will remain closed to the general public on those nights for 15 minutes, so your journey can start ahead of the main visitors.
Organisers will also reduce the capacity on the trail during that time slot, so hopefully your experience will feel less crowded and more relaxed.
The audio volume of the trail will be reduced during the first hour of this session, again to hopefully enhance your enjoyment of the trail.
All of the stewards are there to help make your night perfect. If you need any additional help on the night, please just ask one of the team.
All of the team are trained to recognise the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower symbol if anybody in your party wishes to wear this whilst at Luminate.

Ticket prices on these nights remain the same as for the rest of Luminate. Carer tickets are available where required, pursuant to the company’s standard carer policy.
The Winter Light Trail will take place at Victoria Park in Southport from this Thursday (25th November) and will run until Thursday, 23rd December, starting at 4.30pm each night.
