Southport’s Strongest 2024 takes place this weekend, with everyone invited to this entertaining free event.
It takes place this Sunday (1st September 2024) between 10am and 4pm at CTC Fitness on
Kensington Road Industrial Estate, Hall Road, Southport PR9 0NY.
This year Southport’s Strongest returns for its 5th year with over 50 athletes signed up to compete.
Competition Organiser Stuart Scott and CTC Owner Mike Tobin invite you to come and watch grassroots strongmen.
Stuart Scott said:
“The competition continues to grow each year with over 50 athletes, some local and some travelling from all round the country to vie for the title of Southport’s Strongest 2024.
“The athletes both men’s and women’s categories will compete over five events which include:

Rileys Removals Truck Pull
The CTC Press Medley
The Alex Scott Super Yoke
The Gods Of Grip Dinnie Style Walk
“Lifting starts from 10am running through the day until mid-afternoon.
“Spectators are free so if you enjoy watching strongmen on the television or you want to watch men and women lift extraordinary weights and pull trucks come down!
