Families are being invited to enjoy their Easter holidays in Sunny Southport with sunshine returning and visitors flocking back to the resort.
Silcock’s Funland, Silcock’s Carousel and Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant are open every day providing people with traditional seaside entertainment.
There is lots to offer across the resort as a whole, with other attractions also open and lots of events taking place.
Creating a grand entrance to Southport Pier is Silcock’s Funland, Southport’s largest family amusement centre. This all weather centre is open every day all year round whatever the weather.
Funland offers more fun for all the family with children’s games, rides and Southport’s best Ticket Game Zone where the games are fun to play and easy to win.

Inside Funland you will find the £1 Snack Bar offering toasties, paninis, sandwiches, fries, jacket potatoes, snacks and hot and cold drinks for just £1 .
Silcock’s Carousel was named one of 10 finalists in the Hidden Gem category in this year’s Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards. Tickets for all riders are just £2 each.
Herbert Silcock’s 121-year-old Carousel was built in 1901 in the reign of Queen Victoria.
The Gallopers ride, on Southport Pier Forecourt, features two beautifully-painted carriages and 30 horses, each named after members of the Silcock family or family friends.
Silcock’s Operations Manager Serena Silcock-Prince said: “We are really excited that the Easter holidays are here and that the weather has improved! It’s perfect timing!
“It has been great to see some sunshine back in Southport, it gives everyone a lift. It’s just what we want.
“We have lots of Easter prizes ready for people to win at Silcock’s Funland, which is open every day during the Easter school holidays.
“It’s great value, with everything from 2p machines upwards, while our cafe sells meals from just £1.

“The Carousel is open every day too, while Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant is also open.
“It is a shame that Southport Pier hasn’t reopened yet but hopefully people will come and enjoy everything else that Southport has to offer.
“There is lots happening in Southport over Easter, with the Sefton Open art exhibition now on show at The Atkinson, lots of events at Southport Market, Southport Pleasureland back open again, and lots of great attractions for families to enjoy.
“Southport is a great place to be over Easter.”
