Southport Skatepark will host the 3rd annual SPTjam on Saturday 5th August 2023.
The event will see visitors able to watch heats of skaters across four categories competing with the chance to place on the podium.
Skaters will also compete for SkatePro ‘Best Trick’ and LocoSkates ‘International Creative Trick’.
Expect some insane flips, spins and grind combinations as well as some more technical and innovative skating
If you want to grab some fresh merch then Alchemyst Skate Blade Life Company and Eights Cult Clothing will be there on the day.
Tik Taco, the Mexican restaurant based in Southport, will be serving visitors fresh tacos all afternoon. Onlookers from the Marine Bridge are encouraged down to tuck in! Cash and card payments will be available.
Keep your eyes peeled for some international attendees too!
Members of the Watermelon Roll Crew from Barcelona, as well as special guests Jumbo Brand all the way from the the USA will be there so you’re in for a treat.
Heats will start from 1.30pm onwards so make your way to the Marine Way Bridge to find a good viewing spot and catch the crazy tricks being performed.
There’ll be tunes and commentary all day long to keep things hyped
