Day Of The Dead takes place at Southport Pleasureland this weekend – with tickets selling fast!
Advance tickets for Friday night (4th November) have nearly sold out.
Due to exceptional demand, Southport Pleasureland has now released some additional advance tickets for this Saturday (5th November).
People can buy them via the Southport Pleasureland website: www.southportpleasureland.com
The seafront attraction is getting a Mexican make-over this weekend when it celebrates Dia de los Muertos.
People can enjoy unlimited fairground rides, street performers, live music, and a stunning firework display grand finale.
The traditional Day of the Dead celebration event is back in a colourful, exciting spectacular for the whole family.
Day of the Dead at Southport Pleasureland
The line-up will be:
5.15pm – Mexican dancers and singers
5.35pm – Grinders
5.50pm – Bring The Fire
6.15pm – Grinders
6.30pm – Batala Drummers
6.55pm – Grinders
7.10pm – Mexican dancers and singers
7.35pm – Grinders
7.50pm – Bring The Fire
8.15pm – Batala Drummers
8.45pm – Fireworks
9pm – Live DJ
Southport Pleasureland owner Norman Wallis said: “Advance tickets for Friday are now nearly sold out.
“To meet demand we have released a limited number of additional advance tickets for Saturday 5th November’s Day of the Dead event.
“People will still be able to buy on the night when they arrive at the park both nights, but the advance tickets are at a discounted rate so offer best value with entry from just £10 which includes all the entertainment, stage shows and spectacular fireworks, but spaces are limited so best to buy as soon as possible before they a sell out.
“We have advertised through digital billboards in Southport and Crosby, showing that Pleasureland continues to invest in marketing and bringing people to Southport during the winter months.
“We know many people book local hotels when coming for Day of the Dead so hopefully our advertising will benefit lots of other local businesses too.”

The Day of the Dead fiesta has widened its family appeal since the launch of Disney’s film Coco, and the Southport event will reflect much of the music and magic with live acts on a new central stage, including drummers, fire performers, Mexican Dancers and live music.
The park opens at 5pm with unlimited rides and will be decorated with brightly coloured sugar skulls.
