Southport Royal British Legion is still going strong today, having opened a brand new Southport Veterans Hub on Wesley Street in Southport earlier this year.

My dad was a Steward at the RBL around 1982. When I used to visit him at work I often satand listened to the stories from WW2 that a old SAS veteran would tell. Sadly, and to my shame, I can’t recall his name but such a nice bloke
