Southport murderer Axel Rudakubana, 18, has been jailed for a minimum of 52 yearss.
The judgeMr Justice Goose said the sentences for Rudakubana’s offences will run concurrently – not consecutively – meaning they will be served at the same time.
But he will still be in jail for a minimum of 52 years.
He says it is highly unlikely Rudakubana will ever be released.
The judge clarified that had he been 18, he would have been compelled to pass a sentence of life imprisonment without a minimum term.
The law does not permit that for under 18s however.
The murderer killed three young girls in Southport and wounded several other children and adults.
