People are invited to come out and enjoy two great afternoons of Christmas Comedy Bingo Winter Socials!
The fun festive events, organised by Big Comedy UK and supported by the Halliwell Jones MINI Big Love campaign, take place at Southport Market in Southport town centre this Wednesday (4th December 2024) and on Wednesday 18th December 2024.
As the nights get darker and the weather gets colder, the daytime events are a great chance for people to come together for an afternoon of fun and laughter.
Event organiser Brendan Riley said: “We are really looking forward to our two dates this December, and would love people to come and join us!
“It’s great fun for people of all ages; it’s friendly and welcoming whether you’re coming down with family, with friends, or whether you’re on your own.
“We’ll have all the famous Christmas songs playing to add to the atmosphere.
“You’re welcome to come along in your Christmas jumpers, in your Christmas hats, wherever the festive spirit takes you!
“The festive decorations are now up inside Southport Market, and it looks fabulous.
“It’s superb value for an afternoon out, with tickets just £3 each, which includes a free drink, and all your bingo cards.
“You’re in with a chance of winning prizes too, thanks to the generosity of local businesses such as Southport Market, The Atkinson, Tapper’s Cafe, Southport Tesco, Crystal Clear Opticians, Southport Flower Show and more.
“These will be our final two Comedy Bingo Winter Socials events until later on in January.

The Christmas Comedy Bingo Winter Socials see doors open at Southport Market, on King Street in Southport town centre, at 1pm, with the shows starting at 1.30pm and finishing at 3.30pm.
Tickets cost £3 each and include all the bingo cards you need, in addition to a free cup of tea, cup of coffee, glass of wine or glass of lager.
People can book their place via Skiddle or the Big Comedy website www.bigcomedyuk.com
Tickets can also be bought on the door on the day of the events, subject to availability.

Food and drink is available through the stalls and bar inside Southport Market.
