The second Southport Makers Market is due to take place this weekend, in a superb celebration of the 2021 Independents Day.

Over 65 local independent traders will be lining King Street in Southport town centre, right next to Southport Market, between 11am and 4pm on Sunday, 4th July.

The first Southport Makers Market took place on Sunday 6th June and was a huge success with visitors enjoying the huge array of choice on offer.

Southport Makers Market Matilda Bruchard said: “Wowweee Southport after a brilliant launch event earlier this month we can’t wait to do it all again this Sunday!

“Save the date – Sunday 4th July.

“Please wear a mask where possible and follow the measures we have in place

“All of our traders and event staff will be taking our free lateral flow tests every week, it’s the easiest way to ensure we keep ourselves and our families safe. Please remember to get and take your free lateral tests too, let’s get out of this pandemic as quickly and safely as possible. “You can pick up your free lateral tests from your local pharmacy / testing sites and you can order them online as well.
