The Southport Hesketh Round Table, renowned for its fundraising efforts through beloved events such as the yearly Santa Float, BBC1’s Children In Need Day, and the Mad Dog 10K, is urgently appealing for donations following a devastating incident at a children’s Taylor Swift dance class on Hart Street on Monday (29th July 2024).

The incident, which has left our community reeling, calls for immediate support to assist the affected families and children. 

As an integral part of this community, we at the Southport Hesketh Round Table feel the deep impact of this tragedy, knowing many of those involved personally.

“The Southport Hesketh Round Table consistently raises thousands of pounds for local charities and community projects. Now, more than ever, your generosity is needed to help heal and rebuild our community.

Marc Foreman of the Southport Hesketh Round Table expressed the collective grief and determination of the charity: “The gravity of this atrocity is indescribable as we are still coming to terms with it. 

“Our community has been deeply shaken, and as a charity based in this tight-knit community, we all know someone affected by this. Please donate whatever you can so we can try and build back up the lives affected by this horrific incident.
