A raffle with prizes worth over £1,000 is taking place at Southport Jazz Festival this weekend.
Tickets, £10 each, can be bought as the event takes place at The Grand on Lord Street from today (Friday 3rd February 2023) through to Sunday (5th February 2023).
The Festival will see the UK’s top jazz musicians perform 10 shows over three days, with tickets on sale via the website: southportjazz.co.uk
Southport Jazz Festival Director Jez Murphy said:
“We are running the raffle throughout the weekend, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will announce the winners during the final gig on Sunday night.
“It is another way of raising funds for Southport Jazz Festival, to ensure that the event continues to take place each year.
“We have already got raffle prizes worth over £1,000 in total and we are still in the process of sourcing even more prizes.
“We have weekend tickets to be won; weekend stays; tickets and CDs from the various artists taking part; and more besides.
“We have some amazing prizes which we will be giving away. They are definitely worthwhile for someone to be winning!”
Over 2,000 music lovers from all corners of the UK are looking forward to enjoying the 2023 Southport Jazz Festival.
All shows will take place at The Grand on Lord Street, the stylish art deco venue that reopened last year after a £4 million transformation. The building, which was opened in 1923, celebrates its centenary this year.
Southport Jazz Festival is organised by local musicians Jez Murphy and Emma Holcroft.
