Did you know that you can buy Southport Flower Show tickets in person from The Atkinson on Lord Street in Southport? 

And that there is a special discount for people living in the PR8 and PR9 postcodes in Southport that will see you save £9 off each adult ticket for the popular annual event? 

As an added bonus, all kids under the age of 16 can go free. 

This year’s Southport Flower Show takes place at Victoria Park in Southport from Thursday 17th August to Sunday 20th August 2023.

The biggest independent flower show in the UK was first staged in the town in 1924, and is nearing its centenary year. 

It is organised by a charity which runs the event while also maintaining Victoria Park for the benefit of the local community throughout the year. 

Adult gate prices at Southport Flower Show during the event are £28 each. 

But people living in the PR8 or PR9 postcodes can take advantage of a special offer which allows them to buy adult tickets in advance for just £19 each.

Southport Flower Show is a renowned horticultural event held annually in the beautiful coastal town of Southport. 

This spectacular event attracts thousands of visitors each year, and is a must-see for gardening enthusiasts, nature lovers, and families alike.

Over the years, it has evolved into one of the UK’s most prestigious gardening events, attracting exhibitors, celebrities, and visitors from around the world.

The show is typically held over four days in late summer, and features an incredible array of floral displays, garden designs, and plant collections from some of the country’s top horticulturists.

Southport Flower Show is also famous for its vibrant atmosphere, with live music, food stalls, and entertainment ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights of Southport Flower Show is the Grand Floral Marquee, which showcases stunning floral arrangements and displays from some of the UK’s most talented florists and nursery owners. Visitors can expect to see an incredible range of plants, flowers, and garden accessories, with exhibitors often providing expert advice and guidance on how to create stunning floral displays at home.

In addition to the Grand Floral Marquee, Southport Flower Show also features a wide range of outdoor garden displays and competitions, where exhibitors compete for prizes and recognition for their incredible gardening skills. There are also a number of specialist areas, such as the Plant Village, where visitors can browse and purchase plants and garden products from a variety of vendors.

Southport Flower Show is also a great family day out, with plenty of activities and attractions for children of all ages. Kids can enjoy face painting, puppet shows, and interactive workshops, as well as a dedicated Children’s Village area that offers a range of fun activities and games.

Day tickets for Southport Flower Show can be purchased over the counter at The Atkinson by visiting the Box Office, Shop or Library. 

If you have a PR8/PR9 postcode you are entitled to £19 tickets, just bring proof of your address with you (discount available until 16 August 2023).
