People can learn more about the brand new Southport Enterprise Arcade when  the next Sefton Huddle takes place in Southport this February.

Business people in the digital, creative and tech businesses are invited to attend the event at The Atkinson on Lord Street in Southport from 11am on Thursday, 22nd February 2024.

It is organised by InvestSefton, Sefton Council’s business support and inward investment service.

The guest speaker will be Jon Comer, from the River Motion Group, who will provide an update and Q&A on Southport Enterprise Arcade.

The new arcade is one of the major schemes earmarked as part of the series of Southport Town Deal regeneration projects and being driven by Sefton Council.

Located on Southport’s Eastbank Street, the Enterprise Arcade will be the town’s second creative and digitally-focused space for start-up and growing businesses and entrepreneurs.

Werksy, on West Street, opened earlier this month, while the Engine Rooms inside Wayfarers Arcade on Lord Street will open later in 2024.

Work on Southport Enterprise Arcade is set to begin this month (January 2024) with tenants expected to start moving into the building by the end of the year.

Leading North West digital expert Jon Corner, who helped drive technology sector businesses to Media City in Salford, is part of the Enterprise Arcade project team.

Town Deal funding of £1.5 million has been earmarked for the scheme that will see the Crown Buildings reimagined to create almost 900m2 of space for digital and creative start-ups and scale-ups.
