Southport College T Level Engineering student Calum Borland has been awarded the title of T Level Student of the Year 2026 at the Enginuity Skills Awards.
An Enginuity spokesperson said: “Introducing the T Level Student of the Year 2026!
“Huge congratulations to Calum Borland, T Level student at BAE Systems, who has been named T Level Student of the Year at the Enginuity Skills Awards 2026!
“Sponsored by Eduqas, this award celebrates learners who demonstrate exceptional commitment, achievement, and growth both in their studies and during their industry placement.
“Throughout his T Level journey, Calum has impressed with his technical curiosity, independent learning, and determination to deepen his understanding of engineering.
“His industry placement at BAE Systems has enabled him to apply classroom theory to real-world challenges, developing valuable skills in materials and manufacturing.
“Recognised for his thoughtful problem-solving, workplace contributions, and maturity, Calum has shown a clear passion for engineering and outstanding potential for the future.
“His achievement highlights the power of T Levels in equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and practical experience needed to succeed in industry.
“Congratulations, Calum – a future engineer with a bright career ahead.”
