Southport College

Whether you want to gain new skills, train for a different career or just learn for fun, there is a brilliant range of brand new courses for adults starting at Southport College in January 2023.

If you are thinking ‘new year – new career’, then there are introductory courses to all the trades, courses in counselling, accountancy, floristry, nail technology and even a PGCE to choose from.

Or if learning for pleasure is more your thing, there’s everything from crochet and cake baking to writing and wine tasting.

All the courses are taught by the college’s friendly, supportive tutors and not only are they a great way to acquire new skills and meet new people, they are also a chance to enjoy time for yourself and have fun too!

The college also has its own University Centre, with a great range of HND and Degree courses, that you can study in their dedicated HE building, right in the heart of Southport.

These courses start in September and are taught over just two days a week, so you can easily combine studying with work or family life.

Course fees are cheaper than traditional universities too, so it really is the ideal way to get the qualifications you need for the career you want.

Whether you are interested in a part time leisure course or something more substantial, if you’d like to find out more or have a chat to one of the guidance team about what would be the best course for you, why not call in to the college’s Adult Information Evening on Monday 5th December 2022?  You can drop in anytime from 5-8pm.

There’s free car parking and complimentary refreshments too.  It’s open to everyone and children are very welcome to come with you.
