An award-winning cake boutique shop in Southport town centre has created the perfect treat for Christmas – the cake sandwich!
Cake Creations, at 16 Wesley Street in Southport town centre, is creating them in four flavours: Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon and Red Velvet.
They are presented inside a sandwich box and are a lovely surprise for people.
The shop is also selling other gifts, including snowman themed gingerbread cookies, rum truffles, brandy logs, miniature Christmas cakes and more.
Cake Creations owner Meg Olechowska said: “Our cake sandwiches are the erfect treat or gift for Christmas!
“We are really pleased with them.
“At the beginning of 2023, we started selling at Ormskirk Market and made those, especially for that occasion.
“At the moment we are too busy in the shop so we sell them on Etsy (https://shorturl.at/jtCMX ). “For a long time, they have had the status of Bestseller there.
“They come in four flavours: Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon and Red Velvet.
“Everyone can also order them and collect them from our shop on Wesley Street.
“We think it’s a fantastic idea, they can be easily sent by post, you can take them for a picnic, day out or surprise someone with a little treat.
“They look lovely and they taste even better.
