It’s that time of year when you get the chance to recognise your local NHS hero at Southport and Ormskirk hospitals’ Time To Shine Awards!
The People’s Health Hero Award gives you the opportunity to reward the exceptional care and commitment of our local NHS staff by nominating the individual or team who, in your opinion, went the extra mile for you or your family with excellent care or service.
The Time To Shine Awards event is all about celebrating and recognising the amazing staff at our local hospitals and nominations can be for an individual member of staff or a team, ward or department.
Last year, the award was presented to the Emergency Department whose staff were recognised for their tireless work in tackling the nationwide urgent care crisis head on.
Despite the ongoing challenges patients said their resilience and commitment is extraordinary, and their attitude exemplary.
