Southport and Ainsdale Amateurs senior Sunday sides were proud to present Derian House Children’s Hospice with a cheque for £1,500.
First team coach Gareth Jones is pictured with Emma Jacovelli Fundraising Manager.
The money was raised from the two finals the sides played back in May.
The Charity Cup donates all its proceeds through gate receipts to the winning sides and this year both S&A teams won the Senior and Intermediate Cups.
The winners get to choose a charity of their choice and they picked Derian House Children’s Hospice in Chorley.
The Hospice provides respite and end of life care to more than 400 babies, children and young people across the North West.
The fist team beat Kirkby Woodpecker 2-0 and a week later Sunday Reserves led by coach Gary Keane beat San Marina after a penalty shoot-out.
