Sandgrounder Radio’s Air Show FM is delighted to be working in partnership with The Big Wheel Southport. 

Sandgrounder Radio’s Air Show FM is the pop-up sister radio station of Sandgrounder Radio and will be on-air across Southport on 105.1FM from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th July 2022. 

Content Director Andy Hilbert said: “The Radio station is a vital part of the Air Show weekend and it’s an absolute pleasure to make it happen with the thanks to some amazing local businesses, one of which is the very exciting ‘Big Wheel Southport’ which is part of Southport Pleasureland’.

“This is such a fantastic attraction in Southport and what better way to celebrate the return of the Air Show than to take a flight on the Big Wheel.

“It’s a pleasure to have the support of Southport Pleasureland CEO Norman Wallis who has worked tirelessly over the years to make the amusement park what it is today. The Big Wheel Southport is the icing on the cake.” 

Sandgrounder Radio’s Air Show FM will provide all the Air Show news and information as well as the key traffic and travel updates as people come to and from the show, of which the Big Wheel Southport is an official sponsor.
