Children’s entertainment business Starkidz has been visiting schools in Southport bringing a silent disco.
Schools they have visited include Bishop David Sheppard, Farnborough Road, Churchtown, Our Lady Of Lourdes and Holy Trinity.
Starkidz has set up a GoFundMe fundraising page to cover the costs of the silent discos and to raise money for the Place2Be children’s mental health charity:

Starkidz said: “As a company dedicated to spreading magic and joy, we at Starkidz want to do something special to lift spirits and bring smiles back to the faces of our local kids.
“This February and March, during Children’s Mental Health Week and beyond, we’re planning to visit local schools and host silent disco sessions for children. These fun-filled, interactive sessions are designed to help children unwind, have fun, and experience a moment of pure joy, something we all know is so important for mental health.
“We care deeply about the well-being of children in our community. That’s why we’ve chosen to partner with Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity that provides vital support and services to young people. The funds we raise will help cover the costs of bringing these magical experiences to schools and also contribute directly to Place2Be’s incredible work.”
