Sefton Pride CIC has announced the dates for its celebratory events in 2026, with locations in both Southport and Bootle.

Sefton Pride held its inaugural event in July 2023 at Southport Market and followed with a larger event at Victoria Park in Southport in 2024.

In 2025, over 1,200 people celebrated and reflected at Salt & Tar as a variety of performers wowed young and old alike.

2026 promises to be just as colourful with two Sefton Pride events planned in June 2026.

On Sunday 14th June 2026 Sefton, Pride South will see a meet at Bootle Town Hall for a march which will lead to Lock & Quay.

This Bootle-based community pub provided the bar at the 2025 event and has experience in delivering community events and festivals.

On Sunday 28th June 2026, Sefton Pride North will take place in Southport.

The march will start at Southport Town Hall and revellers will be led back to Southport Market where the recently refurbished outdoor space will host stalls and a stage.

The dedicated event space will offer stalls and family friendly activities.

Sefton Pride Founder Jen Corcoran said:

“It is so important to keep Sefton Pride in our calendars so we can come together, learn and celebrate our differences and that which we have in common.

“We had an incredible event in Bootle last year and Lock & Quay are the perfect partners this year whilst Salt & Tar is being regenerated alongside the Strand.

“I also wanted to bring the event back to Southport where it began, and where we are enjoying an incredible 2026 calendar thanks to the cultural events on offer.
