People are invited to enjoy “an amazing night of entertainment at the ‘Save Queenscourt’ night at The Grand in Southport this Friday (24th July 2026).
The stylish venue on Lord Street will be packed with three floors of entertainment including X Factor stars Ray Quinn and Anthony Russel and Britain’s Got Talent star Andrew Curphey.
The event, hosted by Claire Simmo and Kelly Bond, will see everyone uniting with one night – one community – one cause.
There are some DJs performing too including Baz Todd, Jon Jessop and Sunset Ali, with singers including Jenny Wren, Claire Campbell, Lois Ross, Jeannie Croft, Terry Woods, Evie McDermott and more.

There are plenty of great raffle prizes available including: Liverpool FC family ticket for tour and museum; a signed Everton FC shirt; overnight stay for two with breakfast at the Marion Hotel and Resort in Dysert, North Wales; a Four Ball at Blundells Hill Golf Club; Tyson Fury framed boxing glove; four rugby tickets to St Helens v Hull; make-up voucher worth £38 for Hair & Beauty House; luxury hampers; and more.
In April, Queenscourt Hospice announced that it will be reducing its in-patient ward from ten to five beds, as it continues to face financial uncertainty.
The news comes just four weeks after the hospice stated that it was being forced to consider reducing the vital services it provides for patients, as it continues to operate with a £2 million deficit.

“We’ve sold hundreds of tickets already, we’d love you to come and join us for what is going to be an unforgettable night of fundraising for our local hospice.
“We have all three floors packed with top quality entertainment, with singers and DJs performing throughout the night.
“We have had huge support from a number of local businesses and local people to make this event happen with the likes of Moonlight Events, Enhance Events and others, with our hosts Claire Simmo and Kelly Bond and many of our performers giving us their services for free.
“We have some amazing raffle prizes to be won too, thanks to the generosity of local businesses, with every penny being donated to Queenscourt Hospice.
