People looking to grow their business and make new contacts are invited to enjoy the next Sandgrounders Business Club networking event taking place this week.
The popular monthly event takes place at The Big Help Stadium, Southport Football Club, Haig Avenue, Southport this Thursday (14th March 2024).

There is free car parking outside the stadium with a pay bar available.
The doors open for networking at 5pm with two speakers appearing at 6pm.
This month the Sponsor Speaker is financial planner Chris Norris, while Mark Bryan from the Federation of Small Businesses is the Guest Speaker.
People are then free to stay for more networking and to chat with other business owners present.
Sandgrounders Business Club aims to be a relaxed, friendly, informal event to help support local businesses in Southport and the surrounding area.
They are organised by Southport Football Club, Birkdale Insurance Group, Midgley Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning and Stand Up For Southport and usually take place on the second Thursday of every month.
Chris Harding from Birkdale Insurance Group said:
“The two Sandgrounders Business Club meetings we have held this year have been well attended and we have started attracting businesspeople from all over the North West.
“I have been inundated with requests for further information about the Sandgrounders Business Club which I am delighted to assist with.
“I’m looking forward to the March event and it is looking like the previous attendance records will be surpassed very soon.”
The informal Sandgrounders Business Club gathering is open to businesses in the Southport area and beyond.
Visitors are welcome to drop in and stay and network, or chat with other local business people, for as long or as little as they like.
Unlike other networking groups, there are no contracts involved, no fees and no restrictions on numbers of people in each profession.
Each month sees two guest speakers invited to give short talks to guests – one a sponsored speaker, the other a community / local interest speaker.
The sponsored speaker spot costs £75.
Dates for the diary – meetings take place on:
14th March 2024;
11th April 2024;
9th May 2024;
13th June 2024;
11th July 2024.
