InvestSefton and the NW Cyber Resilience Centre, a not-for-profit police-led partnership, are inviting Sefton businesses to join them for a free Cyber Security workshop.

Businesses have a choice of which workshop to attend, on either:

Wednesday, 20th September 2023 – The Lake House, Waterloo L22 1RR

Thursday, 21st September 2023 – Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa L37 0AB

In the past year 59% of medium-sized businesses experienced a cyberattack or breach.

Many of these could have been prevented, using basic cyber security safeguards.

This interactive session will give attendees a greater understanding of what cyber risks are and how to reduce the risk of being attacked.

Your business will also be registered for the free Merseyside Cyber Security Programme funded by Merseyside’s Police Commissioner and Chief Constable from the proceeds of crime.

The programme has funding for a total of 300 Merseyside businesses across the Liverpool City Region to receive free support worth £1,000.

If you are interested, early booking is strongly advised as places are now being allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

9:30am – Registration & Business Networking

10am-12pm – Business Workshop, Q&A session, Business support
