A heated outdoor marquee has now been installed at Remedy on Lord Street in Southport.

The new facility will allow Christmas shoppers to enjoy a break from visiting local shops to enjoy one of Remedy’s famous breakfasts, lunches or coffees – or one of their festive gins (why not,  it’s Christmas!)

The marquee is a stylish solution to allow people to sit outside and admire the beautiful scenery on Lord Street while dining in a Covid safe way.

Remedy owner Susannah Porter said: “We are aware people feel safer sat outside and as Remedy is famous for its outside space during the Summer we decided to put a marquee up – and as our lovely customers also like to watch the world go by, we needed to source a see- through version!

“Our marquee is lovely, bright and warm. What better way to enjoy your coffee!”

Remedy on Lord Street in Southport is renowned as being a perfectly-placed retreat for those who enjoy life’s little pleasures. The venue is particularly popular for its coffee and cake, artisan gin and fine malt whisky.

Their new marquee is one of a number of imaginative ways Southport businesses are changing their facilities in order to continue trading while ensuring their customers feel safe.

A number of ‘parklets’ have appeared on parking spaces throughout town to allow cafes and restaurants to extend their outdoor seating areas while some such as Remedy have provided covered outdoor areas for people.

People are advised to book at the new Remedy marquee if they can as seats fill up fast.
