Queenscourt Hospice Executive Medical Director, Dr Clare Finnegan visited London to representing Queenscourt as one of the many hospices across the North West impacted by the ongoing funding crisis

Today, Queenscourt Hospice Executive Medical Director, Dr Clare Finnegan is in London, proudly representing Queenscourt as one of the many hospices across the North West impacted by the ongoing government funding crisis.

This important ‘action’ event, organised by Hospice UK, includes the delivery of a signed letter to 10 Downing Street, followed by meetings with MPs at the Houses of Parliament.

Clare has also been speaking with BBC and ITV outside Downing Street, helping to give a voice to the challenges facing hospices like ours.

A Queenscourt Hospice spokesperson said:

“In recent weeks, we’ve seen incredible support through regional news coverage, print features, and the power of our social media community.

“Every conversation, every share, and every story told is helping to shine a light on the difficult reality we are facing.

“We remain hopeful that this growing awareness will lead to the support needed to protect the vital care we provide for our patients and their families.

“Thank you for standing with us – your support makes all the difference.

“Please continue to share and help us raise awareness.”
