Queenscourt Hospice has officially launched its brand-new Enterprise Challenge 2026, inviting businesses across West Lancashire, Southport and Formby to put their entrepreneurial skills to the test while raising vital funds for local hospice care.
The initiative is proudly sponsored by Titan Water, one of the UK’s largest independent specialists in water hygiene and Legionella control, and a long time supporter of Queenscourt Hospice.
The challenge will see up to 20 businesses compete to raise as much money as possible between 1 September and 31 December 2026, after receiving £50 seed funding from Queenscourt Hospice to kickstart their fundraising efforts. Teams will be encouraged to turn their initial investment into the biggest possible return through creative fundraising activities, community events, workplace initiatives and innovative business ideas.
As Queenscourt Hospice approaches its 35th year of caring for local families, the charity is facing one of the most significant financial challenges in its history. Funds raised through the Enterprise Challenge will help the hospice continue providing specialist care and support for people living with serious illnesses across Southport, Formby and West Lancashire, both within the hospice and in patients’ own homes.
Alex Hegarty, Events Fundraiser at Queenscourt Hospice, said:
“We’re incredibly excited to launch the Queenscourt Enterprise Challenge and bring together some of the region’s most ambitious and community-minded businesses. This challenge is about much more than fundraising. It’s about teamwork, creativity, innovation and making a genuine difference to local families who rely on our care.
As we prepare to celebrate 35 years of service, community support has never been more important. We can’t wait to see the incredible ideas that participating businesses come up with and the impact they will make.”

The Enterprise Challenge offers businesses a unique opportunity to strengthen team relationships, improve employee wellbeing, increase brand visibility and demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility, all while supporting a much-loved local charity.
Teams are free to choose how they raise money, with ideas ranging from sponsored walks, cycling challenges and sporting events to bake sales, raffles, networking events, golf days, family fun days, gala dinners and customer fundraising campaigns. Queenscourt’s message is simple: no idea is too big or too small.
As official sponsor, Titan Water is supporting the launch of the initiative and encouraging businesses across the region to get involved. Titan Water operates nationwide and is recognised as one of the UK’s leading independent water hygiene and Legionella control specialists.
To help participants succeed, Queenscourt Hospice will provide a dedicated challenge pack including fundraising guidance, sponsorship forms and JustGiving support. Teams will also have access to promotional materials, collection buckets, banners and ongoing support from the hospice fundraising team throughout the challenge.
With places limited to just 20 businesses, organisations are encouraged to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
