It has been an exciting few weeks for Queenscourt Retail with the launch of our 2024 Christmas card range, taking part in Liverpool Fashion Week and, of course, the grand reopening of our Burscough shop.

Our Burscough shop officially reopened on Thursday, October 17, after a period of upgrades and refurbishment.

Our team of dedicated retail staff and volunteers ensured the shop was dressed up with bunting, balloons and cakes to welcome everyone who joined us for the celebrations and the first 15 customers who visited the refreshed shop received 25% off their purchases with in-store promotional vouchers.

On Friday, October 18, we had a very special ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official reopening of the store.

Margaret Tarpey, a dedicated member of our retail board and former chair, was our guest of honour.

Margaret has been a great supporter of Queenscourt Retail over the years and we were delighted to have her with us to celebrate the reopening.

Queenscourt Retail also took part in Liverpool Fashion Week’s opening night, as part of the Cheshire and Merseyside Hospice Collaborative.

It was an incredible evening of pre-loved fashion, bringing attention to the importance of hospice care across the region.

Jen Graham, aka Charity Shop Girl (@charityshopgirlcsg), with over 100k Instagram followers,

selected 12 runway looks from clothes donated by our hospice shops.

Local TikTok star Robyn Elphick (@robynmia), with more than 85k followers, also helped us get runway ready, pulling together outfits from across our five retail stores.

Christmas has officially arrived at Queenscourt Retail with the launch of our 2024 Christmas card range, featuring a fabulous selection of local scenes, furry favourites, religious scenes and more.

To purchase your Christmas cards, please visit www.queenscourt.org.uk/onlineshop or visit one of our five high street shops.
