Pelorus Chauffeurs has been recognised for its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces.
The executive travel firm, which is based in Southport and operates across the UK, has been presented with the coveted Silver Award through the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).
Michael Hughes, Owner and Founder of Pelorus Chauffeurs, along with two of their dedicated drivers, had the honour of visiting HMS Eaglet in Liverpool to be presented with the Silver Award.
The setting held personal significance for Michael, who proudly served for almost 25 years in the Royal Navy, including a brief period as a Reservist at HMS Eaglet, following his regular service. It was a truly fitting location to celebrate this milestone achievement.
Pelorus Chauffeurs has been a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant since 2021.
He said: “We are extremely proud and excited to announce that following the meeting of the awards panel earlier this year, Pelorus Chauffeurs has been awarded the ERS Silver Award!
“I would like to thank all involved, particularly Jan Cox who helped us through the process and arranged the presentation at HMS Eaglet.
