The 2026 Our Lady Of Lourdes Primary School Leavers Prom hosted at S&B Sports and Social Club in Southport last Friday evening raised a whopping £316.46 for Queenscourt Hospice!
I had an idea and offered to go along free of charge to capture the event by taking lots of gorgeous pictures for keepsakes of the children & families of Our Lady of Lourdes in Birkdale.
As I am taking part in Strictly Queenscourt 2026 I asked if families could kindly pop a donation of any kind into the fundraising bucket or my just giving page on the night to raise funds to such an amazing cause.
I have just taken the bucket now to the hospice and had it counted there by their finance team.
Families also used the QR code on the bucket too if they didn’t have any change.
I can’t believe the amazing response and the total raised on the prom night – I’m honestly just blown away.
Well done Year 6 and all their wonderful families showing so much kindness and community support.
Thank you for letting me come along and capture such precious memories of your wonderful year group… the efforts put in that night for the children by the parents was honestly outstanding.
