Britannia Record Fairs is launching a huge new event in Southport this weekend.
Southport Record Fair is taking place 10am-4pm this Sunday (29th September 2024), in the Ballroom at the Prince Of Wales Hotel on Lord Street in Southport town centre. Admission is free.
This highly anticipated event brings together vinyl vendors and collectors for a day dedicated to rare records, exclusive finds, and music memorabilia in the heart of Southport.
The fair will feature thousands of records spanning multiple genres, from rock and jazz to punk, soul, and more.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector searching for rare gems or a newcomer looking to start your vinyl collection, the Southport Record Fair promises something for everyone. Don’t miss this chance to meet like-minded music lovers and pick up unique pieces for your collection.
A Britannia Record Fairs spokesperson said: “Southport has a strong music-loving culture, supported by its three excellent record shops.
“Recognising the passion for music in the area, we are launching a large Record Fair on the last Sunday of September 2024, in the Ballroom at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Lord Street.
“This will be a significant event for the town as we are bringing hand picked dealers from across the UK who specialise in vinyl records, CDs, and other music-related memorabilia.
“There’s currently no regular record fair in Southport, so we’re thrilled to be filling that gap with a unique event that we believe will attract vinyl collectors, music fans, and casual enthusiasts alike.
“The response we’ve received online so far has been fantastic, and we’d love to make sure that as many people in Southport as possible hear about the event and have the chance to come down and enjoy it.
“The event is a free entry fair and will have a family-friendly atmosphere.
“It promises to be a great day for music lovers of Southport to connect, browse, and celebrate their shared passion for vinyl.”
There is on-site and nearby public parking available.
