Southport creatives Claire Mills and Michelle Foster are teaming up to launch an exciting new podcast celebrating the best of the town’s people, places, and businesses.
Their new show, Michelle & Mills – Styled and Unscripted, will be broadcast every fortnight, exploring Southport’s vibrant lifestyle scene through design, style, wellbeing, and community. Each episode will feature a fresh theme — with local businesses collaborating to bring it to life in imaginative ways.

To mark the launch, the pair recorded their first episode outside The Grand on Lord Street, where they created a stunning outdoor bedroom installation as a nod to the opening topic, “The Luxury of Sleep.”
Claire Mills, founder of Mills Interiors, said:
“We wanted to launch the podcast in a way that reflected its creative spirit — something visual, local, and a little unexpected. The outdoor bedroom is a fun way to showcase some of Southport’s incredible talent and style, while starting a conversation about the importance of rest and wellbeing.”

The first episode features Sharon Stock from The Dairy Holistic Hub, who shares yoga techniques for better sleep, alongside contributions from a range of Southport businesses providing everything from candles and cushions to flowers and fragrance.
Other businesses which contributes to the episode are: The Master Barber’s Shop, Sally Bee Lifestyle, Coco Boutique, Lah De Dah, AR Florist, Massage Therapy Rooms, Busy Body’s, Luxury at No.39, Card & Gift Boutique and Cove .

Michelle Foster, a professional photographer and co-host, said:
“Every episode will have a different theme — sleep is just the start! We’ll be working with local independents to highlight what makes Southport so special. This town is full of creative people doing amazing things, and we want to shine a light on them.”

The Grand’s General Manager, James Bretnall-Bennett, said:
“We’re thrilled to support Claire and Michelle with their podcast launch. It’s a brilliant, imaginative idea that celebrates Southport’s independent spirit and brings businesses together in such a positive way.”
