New Look in Southport town centre reopens this Friday (18th July 2025).

The fashion shop, on Chapel Street, has been closed since 31st May due to flood damage.

Colleagues at the store have been busy this week getting ready to welcome back shoppers once again with the store’s new look now complete.

On Saturday, May 31, customers were met with a message on the doors which read: “Due to unforeseen circumstances in-store, we are unable to trade until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

A New Look spokesperson said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming customers back to our Chapel Street store on Friday 18th July 2025. In the meantime, customers can continue to shop with us online at newlook.com, where our full product ranges can be found.”

New Look says it “aspires to be the go-to destination for fashion that makes her feel like her very best self, whenever, wherever. We get her, we’ve got her back, and we know good style – it’s as simple as that.”

The firm has 338 shops across the UK, including in Southport, with over 10,000 colleagues.

New Look prides itself on being “a broad appeal fashion destination which has been loved by customers for over 50 years”.
