The new Kaspa’s Desserts in Southport is officially opening its doors this Saturday (20th April 2024) with an opening day offer of 50% off for customers!

The delicious dessert emporium is looking forward to welcoming customers from 11am, with Mayor of Sefton Cllr June Burns cutting the ribbon for the official opening ceremony at 1pm.

There will be a balloon artist at Kaspa’s between 12pm and 3pm making balloon models for children.

Kaspa’s Desserts is opening having spent the past few weeks transforming the former Frankie & Benny’s unit at Ocean Plaza Leisure.

It will be the third venture of a successful local franchise that already owns Kaspa’s Desserts outlets in Stockport and Bury.

Kaspa’s is an award-winning collection of exciting dessert houses that offer the world’s favourite hot and cold desserts under one roof.

Diners can enjoy a mouth-watering selection of gelatos, waffles, crepes, shakes, smoothies and sundaes and will change the way you view desserts.

Kaspa’s Desserts aims to create an environment where enjoying authentic desserts with family, friends and loved ones is an unforgettable experience.

Best of all – this Saturday, families can be the first to discover the brand new Kaspa’s Desserts at Ocean Plaza Leisure in Southport while also enjoying 50% off as they dine.

Owner Ben Lehotkai said: “We are looking forward to opening our doors this Saturday at our new Kaspa’s Desserts in Southport!

“We already operate successful Kaspa’s in Stockport and Bury, and Southport will be our third one.

“There are over 100 Kaspa’s operating in the UK and Stockport is among the top 10% in terms of performance.

“We have 16 colleagues in Southport who have been busy training these past few days. Some of the people from our existing outlets will be joining us while we open.

“We are really pleased to be situated next to Playtown Southport and all the other businesses at Ocean Plaza Leisure.

“I love Southport as a place. It’s brilliant to be situated so close to Southport Beach and the seafront! I really like Southport as a town too, it’s a beautiful place, I’ve been here many times.

“We are not sure what the demand is going to be like until we open but we are really looking forward to seeing people coming in and seeing what they think of what we have to offer!

“If you have a sweet tooth, if you enjoy desserts, you are going to love Kaspa’s!”

Kaspa’s Desserts Southport Manager Nidal Alkhanshali said: “It’s going to be hectic!

“We’re looking forward to a rollercoaster weekend.

“We can’t wait to welcome our first customers and we want to make sure they have a really great time.”

The new Kaspa’s Desserts will add to the vibrant leisure and hospitality offering already at Ocean Plaza Leisure, which includes Vue Cinema, Tenpin bowling, Playtown children’s centre, Roberto’s Italian restaurant, Coastline Crossfit, Everlast Gym, Nando’s restaurant, The Good Hood, Starbucks drive through and Evans Cycles.
