There is still time to get fit and “elfy’’ in time for Christmas and raise money for your local NHS hospital charity at the same time.
The MWL NHS Charity, covering Southport and Ormskirk hospitals, has the perfect fundraiser for you and your little ones with their Elf Run.
The charity’s Elf Run is a sponsored walk or run for primary schools and other groups in the community and differs from many others as it can be done at a time and distance to suit you.
You can choose the date, distance, and any location available to you, perhaps a playground, school hall, field or local park. Once you have decided what you are doing the charity will supply you with a full fundraising pack, which include a FREE elf hat for each person taking part.
Victoria Burrows, Head of Fundraising at MWL NHS Charity said: “We have had a great response to our Elf Run fundraiser so far and there is still time to join us.
“It’s a fun and healthy way of raising money for your local hospitals and all we ask is every school or group that signs up aims to raise a minimum of £2 per person taking part.‘’
If you would like to sign up, please email [email protected] by November 15th with your group’s name and address, the number of people taking part and a nominated Chief Elf name and contact details.
If you would like more information, please email as above or call 0151 290 4400 and the Charity Team will be happy to answer your questions.
