Vanarama National League North sides Marine FC and Southport FC are coming together to help raise funds for children’s charities following last year’s atrocities in Southport.
The two sides meet at the Marine Travel Arena on Tuesday evening (11th March 2025, 7.45pm kick-off), and there will be several fundraising opportunities at the match.
A Marine AFC spokesperson said: “MPK9 will be holding a bucket collection as supporters enter the MTA, to raise funds for Alder Hey Children’s Charities, Support the Churchtown Playground in memory of Alice and Bebe, as well as raising money for the Elsie Dot Story Charitable Trust.
“We will also run a raffle for a signed Jack Hazlehurst shirt, and two signed Southport shirts.
“We invite supporters to join us in raising funds for the charities as we come together with our local rivals for a good cause.”
