Michael Finch, owner of MAF Photography in Southport, has been honoured as a Regional Finalist in the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards.
He has been recognised in two separate categories; Best Photographer and Best Newcomer.
Michael has been invited to the Regional Awards event on Tuesday 11th November 2025 in Cheshire.
Here, the companies that have received the best feedback from their clients and have caught the eye of the expert Judging Panel could be crowned Regional Winner before progressing to the National Finals in January 2026.
Now in its 13th year, The Wedding Industry Awards recognise and reward excellence in the wedding industry and helps couples all over the country find the best suppliers for their weddings.
Established in 2011, The Wedding Industry Awards ensure that there is a credible and reliable independent regional and national awards process and associated events.

“I was genuinely shocked and couldn’t believe it when I discovered I had been shortlisted in the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards.
“I was made up that I had been nominated, and then I received an email saying I am a Regional Finalist in not only the Best Photographer category but also in the Best Newcomer category too. It’s a real honour.
“I was over the moon reading that email and I can’t wait for the awards evening.
“Im so thankful to all my couples who voted for me and hopefully we can bring that winners’ trophy home.”
