These pictures show how this home in Southport has been transformed with a stunning outdoor space thanks to some beautiful new lighting.
The property, on Oxford Road in Birkdale, is now sparkling after a makeover from Southport lighting firm IllumiDex UK Ltd.
The team have created a warm and welcoming look through 100 metres of lighting decorating the front of the house and across two pergolas in the garden.
IllumiDex thrives in giving a bright new look to homes and gardens by putting up festoon lighting and wrapping sets of lights around trees.
It creates great settings for garden parties and family get-togethers.
Now is the perfect time to get the work done, as the nights start to draw in little by little.
Home owners are being urged to book in by the end of September, due to the extensive amount of Christmas lighting and festive decorating work booked in for the firm.
IllumiDex Director Steve Clayton said: “We are really proud of this one! The home looks amazing.
“We have installed 100 metres of festoon lights and 200 golf ball shaped bulbs at the front of the property, and around two pergolas in the garden.
“In the back garden there was a beautiful long pergola which we decorated with 60 metres of lights, zig zagging across.

“In the back garden there was a long wooden pergola over a lavender pathway which we decorated with 60 metres of lights, zig zagging across. The scent of the lavender was absolutely gorgeous.
“We started the project around 8.30am and began by stripping away old festoon lighting that no longer worked. Then we got to work installing ours and completed the work by around 4pm.
“The owner was made up. She was very pleased with how it looked.
“It is going to look superb, with the nights starting to draw in now.
“If anyone else would like their homes or gardens decorated with lights, or their trees wrapped with lights, now is the time to book us in!

“We can only do this work until the end of September, after which we are busy installing Christmas lights and decorations in town centres, village centres, retail parks, homes and businesses.”
