There will be a new College Chaplain at KGV Sixth Form College in Southport from September, available to chat to any student, whether they have a faith or not.

The college is delighted to welcome Ben Dyer, who is also the curate at Southport’s St James Church in Birkdale.

Students can talk to Ben about anything and everything whether that be advice, philosophical questions about deeper life or just a light-hearted chat.

His approach is friendly and relaxed and he is looking forward to getting to know the students once term begins again after the summer.

Stephen Musa, Assistant Principal at KGV Sixth Form College said:

“We are thrilled that Ben has volunteered to join our team at KGV and we are sure he will be a fantastic listening ear and talking partner for many of our students this year.

“Positive mental health and wellbeing is a vital part of KGV life and having Ben on board is another important way to encourage this to amongst both our students and staff.”
