KGV Sixth Form College paid partnership
People are invited to toast 100 years of KGV with the KGV Centenary Celebration this autumn!
This unmissable event takes place at KGV Sixth Form College on Scarisbrick New Road, Southport PR8 6LR between 5pm and 7pm on Wednesday 14th October 2026.

A KGV Sixth Form College spokesperson said:
“It was October 1926 that the very first teaching happened at KGV, so we all geared up to celebrate our official centenary!
“To mark the occasion, we are having a celebration on campus on Wednesday 14th October 2026 from 5pm to 7pm and any former students, staff or governors of KGV are invited to come along.
“There will be canapes and drinks served from 5pm; an exhibition of memorabilia; a chance to catch up with old friends, colleagues or former classmates; and a few words about KGV past and present.
“Plus at 6.30pm we will be planting a commemorative tree to mark the occasion.
“Anyone who was or is part of the KGV community is very welcome to join us!
“Tickets are free, but people do need to register in advance via the link on the centenary page of our website: Kgv.ac.uk/centenary
