Kalash Divine Indian restaurant in Southport has launched its Christmas Menu following a sell-out event last year.

The busy venue, at 1-5 Lord Street in Southport town centre, is once again looking forward to welcoming families for a Christmas Day with added spice.

Owners Ranjeet Singh and Alvino Cardozo said: “We are delighted to unveil our special Christmas menu.

“We were fully booked last year, with a fabulous atmosphere.

“Our menu is very reasonably priced, at just £42.95 per person for a four course meal, with just a £10 deposit per person. It is really good value for a four course menu on Christmas Day.

“We have changed our menu again this year to offer new dishes for people to try which we think they will love.

“We have selected dishes to celebrate the whole of India. We want to showcase the very best of regional Indian cuisine which highlights different parts of our country.

“Ever since we first opened, we have created a different Christmas Menu every year. Our chefs put a lot of time and thought into creating something really special.

“This year you can experience delicious food from the streets of Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Rajasthan and elsewhere.

“We have deliberately chosen very popular dishes from these areas. It is a very well balanced menu.

“Our Christmas Day menu features a variety of delicious dishes, perfect for sharing with loved ones.

“You can enjoy a delightful blend of Indian cuisine, featuring classic favourites and innovative twists.

“Our guests will start with Palak Patta Chaat, which is crispy spinach fritters topped with yoghurt, tangy mango chutney, crunchy sev, and pomegranate.

“We have three different starters.

“We have our Dhungaar Chicken Tikka, which is smoked chicken chunks marinated with cloves, vinaigrette and garam masala.

“We have Karare Mushrooms, which are stuffed with mozzarella cheese and breaded and fried.

“And then we have Lamb Falknuma which is a fantastic lamb starter. It is a soft and fluffy patty made from minced lamb, seasoned with Indian spices.

“For our vegetarian main course we have Bharwa Paneer which is a cottage cheese stuffed with chopped vegetables, mozzarella cheese and home-made crown spices.

“We have Murgh-E-Ulfat which is a chicken main course. It is a hammered chicken breast stuffed with spinach, garlic and Indian spices.

“You can also try Gosht Sufiyani which is chunks of lamb simmered with brown onions, yoghurt, fresh cream and whole spices, cooked in a slow dum method.

“For our sides we have Pilau Rice and Stuffed Peas Kulcha.

“Diners can finish their meal in style with a dessert of Coconut Payasam, which is roasted rice powder cooked with coconut milk, honey and cardamom.

“We look forward to welcoming guests to join us at Kalash Divine Indian on Christmas Day.”
