A trip to your favourite bingo hall might be out of the question at the moment, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy the thrill of the game. Why not sign up for an Online Comedy Bingo night this week and help raise some much-needed funds for Queenscourt Hospice?
Hosted by Brendan Riley through Zoom, the event, which will run from 7.30pm this Friday, May 29, will include two games of bingo, along with a raffle, auction and of course, lots of laughter. There is only room on Zoom for 48 households, although every member of your family can play.
Entry costs £10 per person, which as well as your bingo cards, also includes your tickets for the raffle which boasts lots of great prizes.
Brendan is a dab hand at hosting online bingo sessions and has a personal reason for wanting to support Queenscourt’s event.

He said: “Two years ago my best friend passed away after fighting a terrible illness. I know it was a massive comfort for him and his family to have the support and care from all of the team at Queenscourt Hospice.
“It is a privilege to have the chance to help raise funds for this fantastic charity that does so much amazing work for our community.
“Comedy Bingo is a really fun way to raise funds for charities. Over the last five years I raised thousands of pounds and thousands of laughs at live events all over the country. Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak I have now developed the concept to play online.
“I look forward to Zooming from our living room to your living room and raising loads of money and at the same time raising loads of smiles.”
