Businesses which make a positive difference in the local community could be honoured with a Sefton Business In The Community Awards, sponsored by In Demand Radio, at the 2025 Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards.
Three Finalists will be invited to collect awards at the glittering Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards at The Grand in Southport on 25th April 2025.
The Winner will also receive a further boost, with a free advertising package through in Demand Radio worth £3,000 which includes production costs for the advert and airtime.
The awards are once again hosted by In Demand Radio Presenter Claire Simmo.

Gill Ditchburn has been the CEO of Elevate Education Business Partnership, celebrating over 25 years of working with young people to develop and inspire tomorrow’s workforce in Sefton and the Liverpool City Region.
Elevate EBP has enabled 3 million hours of work experience for young people with over 800,000 careers interventions.
Honoured as a Finalist was Byng House.
Byng House is a very special nursing home in Southport which provides exceptional care.
Byng House was last year named in the Top 20 best Care Homes in the North West.
Our second Finalist was Sue Palmer-Conn.
Dr Sue Palmer-Conn, AKA ‘the Divorce Doctor’, turned to working with people on the brink of divorce after finding few options available here in the UK.
She set up the Divorce Coaching Academy in 2021 and has trained 25 new divorce counsellors.
She was named as one of the UK’s 100 most inspirational and dynamic businesswomen.

The 2025 Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards are searching for someone truly special who has made a truly inspiring or outstanding contribution to life in Southport, Bootle, Crosby, Formby, Maghull, or across Sefton.
People and groups who go above and beyond to make Sefton a special place for all will be presented with their trophies and given thanks in the Princess Grace Suite at The Grand on Lord Street in Southport town centre on Friday, 25th April 2025.
The unmissable night in the Merseyside events calendar will be presented by actress and radio personality Claire Simmo, and supported by Media Partner In Demand Radio.
All those on the shortlist will be invited to a special celebratory meal in beautiful surroundings while the awards are presented, with a night of entertainment planned.
The Grand Pride Of Sefton Awards are being organised by Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Group and Stand Up For Southport.
Nominations are still being invited across all 13 categories ahead of the closing date on 1st March 2025.
