A little heartfelt plea to my Facebook friends…
For six more shows, I get to live every singer’s dream. Standing on stage with some of my best mates, pretending we’re in a boy band, singing songs by my favourite band of all time, Take That. And I’m absolutely loving every second!
But this is about so much more than a show.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of BOS Musical Theatre Company. What many people don’t realise is that it costs around £40,000 to put on a production, and sadly, ticket sales for The Band haven’t been as strong as we’d hoped.
Societies like BOS are so important to our town. They’re not just about theatre. They’re about friendship, confidence, belonging and giving people a safe space to be themselves, escape everyday worries and do something they love.
I’d genuinely hate to think of a future where opportunities like this no longer exist.
So I’m asking a little favour.
Please come and support us. Come and watch me and my mates pretend we’re Take That, sing along to some brilliant songs, and support every single talented person on that stage.
To you, it’s a night out. To us, it’s helping keep something really special alive in our community.
We’ve got six shows left. Let’s fill those seats!
And if you can’t make it, a share would mean the world.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
