Hatter’s Digital Agency has moved into smart new offices in Southport.
The award-winning digital marketing company is now situated at 21 Hoghton Street, right in the heart of the town centre.
The firm employs seven talented creatives who provide services including social media management, branding and logo design, SEO, copywriting, or full marketing strategies.
Hatter’s has grown in recent months and has been determined to find suitable new premises locally.
The search has not been easy and owner Sarah Jackson is eager to see more modern, purpose-built office space created in Southport.
New office accommodation would allow the resort to diversify its economy and provide more space for the growing tech, creative and digital sector.
Hatter’s Head Hatter Sarah Jackson said: “We were delighted to move into our new offices in December. We moved in just in time to get our Christmas tree up!
“It was a massive challenge to find the right premises, we are really pleased to have found this location.
“During our search we saw office space in Liverpool which would have been cheaper but we were really keen to be here in Southport. We wanted to be based in the town and to be a part of the town.

“There are seven of us working at Hatter’s now and we really wanted to find somewhere with enough space, modern, and suitable for our needs.
“We are a creative team and we need to be working together under one roof.
“There is a real shortage of good, quality office space in Southport.
“A lot of premises on the market have previously been used for beauty businesses or retail.
“There wasn’t a lot out there that would have suited us.

“There are tiny places, which would suit two or three people, or big offices for large firms at the business park at Wight Moss Way in Kew, but nothing in the middle for medium sized firms like ourselves.”
One new development that is much needed is the proposed new Southport Enterprise Arcade, which is due to open later this year.
The scheme is being led by Sefton Council using £1.5 million funding from the Southport Town Deal initiative. The new facility is being designed by K2 Architects.
Sarah said: “I think the new Southport Enterprise Arcade will be a brilliant new space for creatives. I am really looking forward to seeing what it will be like.
“It is a positive indication that Sefton Council is trying to move Southport in the right direction.

“We really do need more, and better quality, office space here in Southport.”
Creating more office provision in Southport is a superb opportunity for the town as people’s working patterns change as a result of the Covid pandemic.
Sarah said: “Businesses have become much more open to the concept of flexible working.
“Firms have had to give people that flexible option.

“If people are spending more time in Southport and they have the opportunity to occasionally work in somewhere like the Enterprise Arcade, then they will be spending money in the town which will have a positive impact on local businesses.”
