The owner of a business on Hart Street in Southport has expressed his thanks for the support from the local community after last week’s tragedy in which three girls died.
Master Car Body Repairs on Hart Street remains closed, along with a large section of Hart Street as the Merseyside Police investigation continues.
Police have not yet given any indication on when the road may reopen.
Business owner Colin Parry said: “I’m trying to find the right words to thank everyone who has given me, my work colleagues, and most of all the little girls and their families, unparalleled support throughout ] this past week,
“You have all helped us with your wonderful comments, we truly all feel overwhelmed with love!
“It has been a week full of nightmares, flashbacks and tears, and also for us, concern that
we remain closed while the investigation continues, keeping the road section closed, with no access.
“This isn’t about us, we as a team know that the horrific tragedy of what has happened here is paramount. We send our deepest condolences to the families and their friends who have lost their precious little girls. And all of the other families and little princesses who were attacked and recovering we hear you in our dreams believe me.
“The emergency services were swift and in great numbers. Absolutely amazing thank you guys.
“So a massive thank you all for your texts, calls and posts you have definitely brightened our darkest moments.”
