The Good Business Festival and InvestSefton is inviting local business leaders to enjoy a special ‘Family Fortunes’ event on Friday, 9th July in a marquee at Southport Pleasureland.

It is part of The Good Business Festival 2021.

‘Family Fortunes’ will take place at Southport Pleasureland, on Marine Drive, Southport, from 2pm.

Panel members include: Southport Pleasureland CEO Norman Wallis; Radwraps Ltd founder James Maddocks; Karen Potter Ltd founder Karen Potter; and Immersive Interactive Ltd General Manager Peter Salt.

The afternoon will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster Paul Sinha.

A SeftonInvest spokesperson said: “Sefton as a borough has a high number of small businesses and family friendly businesses, and in partnership with the Good Business Festival we would like to highlight this whilst creating a discussion around the pros and cons of working with family.

“The event is aimed at all businesses, not just family-owned businesses.

“Please come along, share your own experiences and join a light-hearted discussion about the trials and tribulations of running a family or small business – everything from legacy planning to falling out over Christmas dinner.

“The event will be hosted by the comedian and broadcaster Paul Sinha, known for his quiz skills on ITV’s The Chase.”

Family Fortunes starts at 2pm on Friday 9th July 2021 with refreshments and networking.

At 3pm a panel discussion and Q&A takes place with panel members: Norman Wallis; James Maddocks; Karen Potter; and Peter Salt.
